Our Services
Safe Haven & Protection
- Providing refuge accommodation, with 85% of placements secured on the same day.
- Conducting daily wellbeing visits to clients in refuge, offering face-to-face emotional support and assistance with completing relevant forms.
- Connecting clients with local faith communities, including churches, mosques, synagogues, and temples.
- Registering clients with a GP.
- Arranging and supporting GP appointments.
- Securing move-on accommodation, including applications for council or social housing and discretionary housing payments.
- Encouraging participation in local community initiatives and resident meetings to build connections and support others.
- Providing a safe, supportive environment where clients can begin rebuilding their lives.
Healing & Support
- Conducting a DASH risk assessment for domestic abuse victims.
- Creating personalised safety plans.
- Providing daily wellbeing visits and wellbeing calls.
- Referring clients to MARAC when a high level of risk is identified through the DASH assessment.
- Registering clients with NHS Talking Therapies for mental health support.
- Enrolling clients in English language and IT courses where appropriate.
- Assisting clients with Universal Credit applications.
- Supporting clients to apply for a National Insurance number where required.
- Registering clients with local food banks.
- Liaising with Jobcentre work coaches to help clients access employment opportunities.
- Providing ongoing emotional support and practical guidance.
Legal Protection & Advocacy
- Introducing clients to legal aid immigration solicitors for applications such as Migrant Victims of Domestic Abuse Concession (MVDAC) and Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
