Our Services
Safe Haven & Protection
- Providing a refuge, 85% within the same day.
- Conducting daily well-being visits to the clients at the refuge to offer face-to-face support, including emotional support and assistance with filling in relevant forms
- Connecting clients with local religious groups such as churches, mosques, synagogues, and temples
- Registering clients with a GP
- Making GP appointments
- Securing move-on accommodation, such as applying for council/social housing accommodation and applying for discretionary housing payments
- Ensuring clients engage in local community initiatives and resident meetings to support others
Healing & Support
- Conducting an DASH risk assessment for domestic abuse victims
- Creating a safety plan
- Conducting daily well being visit and well being call.
- Referring clients to MARAC when high risk is identified on the DASH risk assessment
- Registering clients with NHS talking therapy for mental health assistance
- Enrolling clients in English and IT classes, if applicable
- Assisting clients in applying for Universal Credit
- Assisting clients in applying for a National Insurance Number, if they do not have one
- Registering clients with the local food bank
- Liaising with the work coach at the job center to secure job opportunities for clients
- Providing emotional support
- Assisting clients to develop independent life skills
Legal Protection & Advocacy
- Introducing clients to a legal aid immigration lawyer for MVDAC and ILR applications
- Introducing clients to a legal aid family lawyer for divorce and restraining order
